Andeluna Cellars combines over 125 years of Argentine wine­making heritage and world-class vineyards to produce Argentina’s Finest Wines™. Andeluna means Andes Moon and our label recalls the romance and mystery of the moon rising above the vineyards and winery in the Uco Valley. Our winemaking tradition and passion is proudly reflected in every bottle of Andeluna wine.

Vineyards
Our 2005 Winemaker's Selection Cabernet Sauvignon is made from premium grapes grown at an elevation of approximately 4,200 feet on the Andeluna estate in the foothills of the Andes. The high altitudes, wide temperature range, constant sunshine and excellent soil characteristics of this area produce grapes that enable the production of wines identified by exceptional color intensity, important aromatic expression and ideal structure.

Winemaking
After selecting the very best bunches, the grapes underwent a destemming and milling process, and the must's temperature was decreased to 45°F. One half of the wine was fermented and aged with French oak for five months, and blended with the remaining 50% which was fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. The wine was then aged three more months in the bottle.

Tasting Notes
This wine has medium color intensity with greenish glints and is medium bodied and balanced. It exhibits aromas of tropical and citrus fruits with flavors of fresh citrus and vanilla notes that linger through the long finish.

Serving Suggestions
Serve at 55°F to 57°F with salads, soft cheeses, light pastas, grilled fish, chicken and pork.
